Field trials and tests prove that green salt, or treated de-icing salt, disperses less than traditional de-icing salts. What's more, it's effective down to -25°C. This treated de-icing salt is a blend of pre-mixed bulk salt, liquid magnesium chloride, a PNS-approved corrosion inhibitor and a colorant. It is also 30 % less harmful to concrete and unistone.
